Lauren Rennells, the visionary behind VintageHairstyling.com and HRST Books LLC, revolutionized the hair industry with a groundbreaking product, requiring packaging that matched its disruptive nature. While aiming to retain a vintage aesthetic, Lauren sought to imbue the packaging with a contemporary vibe, conveying its versatility in creating various styles beyond just vintage looks. To achieve this, I integrated a modern logo with retro patterns and colors, adopting an asymmetrical layout that juxtaposed vintage elements with modern imagery, resulting in packaging that seamlessly bridged the past and present.
